These experts provide a full-range of general pediatrics care, from diagnosis to treatment and transition of patients to outpatient specialty centers, when needed, for follow-up care. Board-certified/eligible general pediatric hospitalistsA hospitalist is a hospital-based general pediatric physician, who regularly treats and manages inpatient general pediatric cases, steps in to act as the hospitalized child’s primary physician.
