Anesthesia plays a critical role in the treatment and recovery of infants, children and adolescents. Miller Children’s anesthesiologists are specialized in all areas of patient care before, during and after surgery or procedures.

Board-certified pediatric anesthesiologists are available in-house, 24/7 and are responsible for the general anesthesia, sedation and pain management needs of infants, children and adolescents. Anesthesiologists are not only instrumental in the safety and success of a surgery, but also provide a variety of anesthesiology care needs, such as:

• Imaging tests
• Procedures in the sedation/procedure room
